GRID STEP. You can print out the base construction lines and start drawing on tracing paper or you can draw the grid layout yourself using the following steps. Draw a square which will act as the frame of the crab portrait.
GRID STEP. Outline the general shape of the carapace and claws of the crab. Sketch eyes.
GRID STEP. Detail the claws and the eyes. Add two legs.
GRID STEP. Draw eye pupils, mouth and additional two legs. Add lines inside the claws.
GRID STEP. Refine the shape of claws by adding another line.
Add the last two legs. Detail the mouth.
GRID STEP. Work on the whole figure, adding more details to the eyes, the legs and the carapace.
GRID STEP. Color the eyes and the mouth. Erase all guidelines.
