GRID STEP. You can print out the base construction lines and start drawing on tracing paper or you can draw the grid layout yourself using the following steps.
• Locate the head in advance and draw its approximate size using an ovals. • Draw 1 horizontal line above the head. Above it, draw 1 line equal to 2/3 height of the head. • Draw 1 horizontal line under the head. Below it, add 8 more lines equal to the height of the head plus 1 line equal to 2/3 height of the head. • Separate the head with a vertical line. From this line draw the sides: -on the left, 7 lines equal to the width of the head plus one line equal 1/5 the width of the head; -on the right, 4 line equal to the width of the head.
